Rubbish- on the very first rasp the metal clip failed. Cheap plastic and cheap metal. I’ll be returning them as not fit for purpose.

We purchased this item as a tool in training our foals for the farrier, as a product it doesn't appear to be very substantial, almost toy like, it isn't good enough to do a good rasping job but it is adequate enough to just run around the hooves and imitate the sound of a rasp, we used the metal rasp to do a proper job but this item was a good thing to use for the training and desensitisation, lightweight and easy to hold, It will rasp a little, everything including the rasping blade is made of plastic and looks to be easily breakable, however it appeared that the rasping blade could be replaced. If you want to do a proper job a small farriers rasp would be better but this is very good for training purposes.
