Are these forest sticks suitable for hamsters? The front of the box says suitable for rabbits or guinea pigs. But the back says small animals.
These treats are intended for use in small herbivores, which includes rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas and degus. They are unlikely to cause any harm to hamsters but contain hay which is only really digestible by herbivores. Hamsters are onnivores, similar to us, and so cannot digest hay properly.
