I used this in March during shedding and within a week my horse's coat looked shinier and the dandruff had gone. It is quite expensive though so I won't be using it all year round.

Horse with an auto immune problem

Rachel

Hi, my 18 month horse has been diagnosed by a vet as having an auto immune problem. His coat gets dull his legs left untreated will look oily to begin with then go scaby his hair will fall out. His legs are very painful when sore. Right now he is clipped fully washed once a week in a medicated shampoo. I apply cetraben to his legs daily. He is on a herbal chaff , natural cleanse herbs, and vitamins and mineral supplement is there anything else I could feed him that would be of benefit to him. Any help would be greatly appreciated

A skin supplement like this is a great idea to try, it provides the best nutrients for normal and healthy skin/coat repair and function. It is best to run the use of the product past your vet first though just in case it interferes with their treatment plan. It's important to focus on any vet recommended treatment as a priority for auto-immune conditions as medications are often required to treat the underlying cause.
