Wet food for adult dogs suffering from food allergies. Contains a limited number of ingredients and uses lamb and rice, ingredients that have a lower risk of triggering your dog's food allergy. This diet is also ideal for elimination trials. This is a complete wet food so you can feed it either as the main food or mixed with dry kibble as a tasty treat.
Lamb, rice, vitamins and trace elements (including chelated trace elements), fish oil, sunflower oil, minerals, cellulose powder, psyllium husk, dextrose, xylose. Contains no added artificial colours or flavourings.

Our basset hound is on a very specific diet and the vet recommended dechra food as she wouldn’t eat any of the other brands recommended. It’s not the. Cheapest product but we mix the wet and dry food together and our very fussy dog eats it pretty much everytime. It has really reduced the number of poor health episodes she has and along with medication, she hasn’t had to spend the night at the vets for nearly a year now. Before this, it was a fairly regular occurrence. The only downsides are the prices and availability but even with that. I highly recommend it.

Our dog hates Royal Canin, Hills wasn't quite suitable but he loves the SPECIFIC CDW and he never vomits or gags any more. His breath is a bit fishy but that's a small price to pay.

Excellent dog food that does help to control our Rosie’s iffy stomach.
Discharge firm and easily pick up.
But the slightest change of diet and no CDW then discharge very loose.
Only slight criticism is the packing which could be improved.

I'm never quite sure at what age a puppy becomes classed as an adult dog! From what age is the food suitable for dogs?
A puppy is classed as an adult from 12 to 18 months of age depending on the breed. This is a veterinary diet so you should discuss it's use with your vet before deciding whether it is safe for use in your pup or not. It is intended for allergy management and control.
