Red Gorilla Plas Feed Skip for Horses

The Gorilla Plas® S1 Small Skip

The classic feed skip might amongst the smallest in our range, but it’s always been a big favourite! The Gorilla Plas® S1 Small Skip is both frost and UV-proof, hardwearing and helps to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene when administering animal feed.

Manufactured from recycled plastics, we’d say it’s become the industry’s first choice skip given its light, strong and incredibly capable. Modernised and reimagined, the Gorilla Plas® S1 Small Skip has all the features of our traditional Tyre Rubber® feed skips, but is made from a superior, polymer material, giving you just a bit more for your money. As a food safe product, the Gorilla Plas® S1 Small Skip is well proportioned and easy to manage, but also non-absorbent, so there’s no issue with food or water being soaked up, ensuring zero potential for cross-contamination, spread of disease or infection. Our customers tell us they are particularly impressed with the lightness of this skip, it being approximately 60% lighter than a traditional tyre rubber alternative. That makes easier work out of your daily feed and cleaning routines around the yard, stables and farm.

At feed time, an easy-to-use tipping system ensures quick and efficient emptying and cleaning, so you’re not spending more time than necessary scrubbing and rinsing out your skip. Purpose-designed for optimum efficiency and handling, the S1 has moulded handles, ensuring you get a firm grip every time you use it, so it’s a little easier to lift and move.

The S1 skip has a maximum capacity of 11L/2.4gal and is available in a range of bright, eye-catching colours.

Look out for the Red Gorilla® logo on all our Gorilla Plas® products. It means it’s authentic and up to the toughest of jobs.

The Gorilla Plas® S2 Medium Feed Skip

The Gorilla Plas® S2 Medium Feed Skip represents the latest innovation in stable equipment, purpose-built for demanding environments where durability, hygiene, and reliability matter most. Engineered using Gorilla Plas®, a proprietary recycled polymer, this skip is designed to outperform traditional rubber or plastic alternatives. Its robust construction offers exceptional impact resistance, making it perfect for high-traffic stable yards, busy equestrian centres, or working farms. The medium size offers a practical balance between capacity and handling, ideal for daily feeding routines, stable use, and general animal care.

What sets this skip apart is its superior hygiene and easy-clean surface. Gorilla Plas® is non-porous and resistant to cracking or splitting, meaning dirt, bacteria, and feed residue are less likely to cling to the surface. A simple rinse or wipe-down is often all that’s needed, significantly reducing cleaning time and helping to maintain a higher standard of cleanliness across feeding areas. This makes it particularly well-suited to environments where biosecurity and animal health are a top priority. The skip is also fully food and feed safe, giving horse owners, grooms, and animal professionals peace of mind when using it for daily feeding or water duties.

Whether you're in a livery yard, racing stable, riding school, or on a smallholding, the Gorilla Plas® S2 Medium Feed Skip delivers long-term, eco-conscious performance. Made from recycled material, it supports sustainability efforts without compromising on strength or usability. The reinforced structure is designed to withstand knocks, kicks, and everyday wear, yet remains lightweight and easy to move—even when full. It’s compatible with a wide range of stable and yard tasks beyond feeding, including watering, grooming supplies storage, or even general utility use. Built to last and trusted by professionals, this is more than just a feed skip — it's a reliable tool for anyone who expects their equipment to work as hard as they do.
