I do find that this product is very efficient and the effects are good, had had no real side effects just a slight drop in eating. Didn't take long to get into system. They are easy to cut in half if required.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Reconcile Chewable tablets for dogs, including answers from our team.
Lorna Neale
I have an 11.4 kg dog she’s been on liquid form of fluoxetine which i understand is 10mg doesage but i drawer up
In the syringe 2.5mg …. Can you advise what dosage of tablet I need to buy from you please
Thank you
Reconcile should be administered orally at a once daily dose of 1 to 2 mg/kg bodyweight according to the dosage table below:
Bodyweight (kg) - Tablet strength (mg) - Number of tablets per day
4-8 - Reconcile 8mg tablet - 1
8 - 16 - Reconcile 16mg tablet - 1
16 - 32 - Reconcile 32mg tablet - 1
32 - 64 - Reconcile 64mg tablet - 1
An 11.4kg dog would require a 16mg tablet.

What is the best time to give my dog Reconcile. Her problem s she is awake so much in the night and just wants to see me, then she happily falls asleep for about an hour. Thank you. Wendy
Reconcile should be dosed once daily according to the datasheet. The datasheet does not state that the time of day it is given will effect the tablets efficacy, I suggest discussing this with your prescribing vet if you would like further advice. It does state that clinical improvement is expected within 1 to 2 weeks so if you're are not seeing any benefit then it may be you need to continue therapy for longer.

Can these tablets be split? i.e. halved are they scored?
You you can split the Reconcile tablets although they are not scored for splitting. They are a homogenous blend so there is no hassle when it comes to splitting tablets.

I have a 34kg American bully and my vet recommended these but did not suggest what dose. What does would you recommend please?
A 34kg dog will need 1 x 64mg tablet once daily according to the datasheet. This is a prescription only medication so you will need to get a written prescription from your vet for us to dispense it to you. It is advised to chat to them regarding doseage and administration.

Can this be used for cats? My vet has prescribed reconcile 8mg half tablet. Can I break this in half and give to my cat?
You should use the medication as prescribed by your vet. It can be used off license in cats, if your vet has advised this then you should follow their advice.

For a dog weighing 52kg (giant breed, not overweight) what strength would he need and how many a day please.
The dose according to the datasheet for a 52kg dog is 1 x 64mg tablet once daily. This is a prescription only medication so you should contact your vet for dosing advice as it will need to be prescribed by them.
