For overweight and obese cats, to achieve healthy weight loss a specifically tailored complete and balanced diet is recommended to support optimal health and wellbeing.
Available in 1.5 kg, 3.5 kg and 6 kg bags, ROYAL CANIN® Feline Satiety Weight Management is specially tailored with the nutritional needs of overweight cats in mind. This exclusive formula contains an adapted macronutrient profile that supports safe weight loss while also helping your cat avoid weight regain. In an international weight loss study, 97% of cats lost weight in just 3 months of continued use of this food*
Overweight cats have a tendency to beg for more food in-between normal meals. That’s why ROYAL CANIN® Feline Satiety Weight Management contains a high level of natural fibre, to help to keep your cat satisfied between mealtimes. In the weight loss study, this food helped to control begging in 82% of cats.* During weight loss, it’s important to help your cat maintain muscle mass. For that very reason, ROYAL CANIN® Feline Satiety Weight Management contains a high protein content to support the maintenance of healthy muscle mass and ideal body condition in your cat.
As part of the ROYAL CANIN® Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional and that prescribed feeding rations are accurately followed. This is why we recommend weighing daily feed amounts on digital kitchen scales To cater to each cat’s individual preferences, ROYAL CANIN® Feline Satiety Weight Management is also available as wet food as thin slices in gravy. If you’re considering mixed feeding, follow our feeding guidelines to ensure your cat gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit.
At ROYAL CANIN® we’re committed to providing nutritional solutions to your pet’s needs. All of our products undergo an extensive quality control process in order to guarantee the optimum quality of food, as well as catering to your cat’s specific dietary requirements and lifestyle. This means that when your cat eats ROYAL CANIN® Feline Satiety Weight Management, it’s getting a complete and balanced diet. *Flanagan J et al. Helpful for an elderly cat's digestion
Customer recommends this product
My (very) greedy cat was getting rather tubby. The vet recommended this food, both the wet pouches and the biscuits, and they helped Jet manage his hunger and he has lost 10% of his body weight. Happy cat, happy owner, happy vet!

My cat likes it. I'm waiting for our next appointment with the Vet to see how we're doing with his weight loss.

I buy this for my cats who like to comfort eat, and tend to out on weight with other food. This satiety food is great because they can eat as much as they want, but their weight is maintained. I mix a small amount of another dry food with it, (which our vet recommended for another health issue), and they love it, even after a few years.

Exactly what the vet has prescribed for my cat's diet, and is working well. She is managing a steady weight loss.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding ROYAL CANINĀ® Satiety Adult Cat Food, including answers from our team.
Emmanuelle
My cat (14 yo) has a tendency to have pancreatitis and requires low fat food. He is also a bit overweight. He is on Hills weight/digestion dry food. I am looking for a wet food he could have occasionally - 2 evening meals per week - for a little bit of variety.
Would this be okay?
Thanks!
The wet version of this diet has a fat content of only 2.2% which is considered low. The diet is primarily intended to help overweight cats lose weight, andit is a veterinary diet so I recommend running the use of it past your vet just in case. It's important to minimise any dietary changes where possible if your cat is prone to pancreatitis.

Is this product suitable for my overweight but elderly (approx. 17 yrs) cat please? He eats too much and not very active now so weight is a problem.
This Satiety food is a great idea for your cat if you are trying to lose some weight and keep it off. The average healthy senior cat will be fine to go onto this but if you are under veterinary treatment then it is a good idea running the diet past them first. If your cat has any aging related underlying disorders, like kidney problems, then there are much more important diets to be on instead.
If you would like specific advice on whether this is appropriate then I advise ringing the Royal Canin helpline on 0845 300 5011.
