My dog loves this wet food. He was moved over because he has had such awful skin and we were trying to figure out why. I did a littleResearch about what brands suited a little dog (my dashchund is 4.6kg) and we also have their small dog biscuits which are a perfect size for him. But I also wanted ones that dogs actually have found tasty. My dog loves the biscuits and this wet food. I thought I was going to to a wet and biscuit combo for his meals but he is happy with the kibble so I haven’t done the combo. What I do use this for is when he has his steroid tablet I put a small bit in his food and push the tablet into it. I also cut the wet loaf into small chunks and dehydrate it slightly in the oven to make it firmer (the vet recommended doing this) so it makes good training treats which my dog feels is higher value then just kibble.

Can I buy one tin to try as my dog is so fussy
Please contact Royal Canin directly as we are a supplier we do not hold single cans.

Is this food available in the small tins please.
Unfortunately not, this is the only size can for ROYAL CANIN® Canine Hypoallergenic Adult Wet Dog Food.

Is this food likely to make a yeast-fungal infection worse. Does this food contain yeast?
This food does not contain yeast and cannot cause a yeast or fungal infection. It is intended to help support dogs who are prone to food allergies, it is formulated to be far less likely to set off a food allergy. I recommend discussing with your vet about what is causing the yeast/fungal infection in order to treat this.

I have tried all combinations of wet & dry food for my little collie-cross (rescued) and although she seems happy enough, her poo is often a mix of semi-solid and very runny (glutenous). She must be very uncomfortable and in pain at times.
I have had her for 4+ years now and have taken her regularly to the vet to sort this
but I am now at a loss as to how to sort this...
I would be grateful for any advice you can offer.
Regards, Carol Crawte
I recommend reading our blog on allergies, this has a useful section on food trials which could help your pet:
https://www.viovet.co.uk/blog/p3456-Allergies-in-cats-and-dogs---a-vet-guide
I strongly advise following your vets advice closely though as working out what food works etc requires a systematic well planned approach.

I’ve been feeding my dog z/d dry food mixed with a little z/d tinned food. As I am unable to purchase z/d tinned anywhere, would it be possible to use the Hypoallergenic instead please?
The Hypoallergenic version is not completely anallergenic like the Hills Z/D. It is the best alternative but I strongly advising chatting with your vet to be certain it won't interfere with their treatment plan.
