ProDen PlaqueOff Powder for Cats (40g) – Plaque Remover Made with Organic Seaweed: Clinically Proven by the VOHC to Reduce Tartar, Plaque, and Bad Breath.
Why Choose ProDen PlaqueOff® Seaweed Powder?
Unlike other seaweed dental powders, ours is organic and made from a unique subvariety of Scandinavian Ascophyllum nodosum seaweed (A.N ProDen®).
This Scandinavian variety is the only type of seaweed clinically proven by the VOHC (Veterinary Oral Health Council) to reduce plaque, tartar & bad breath.
Easy to use - simply mix the powder into your cat’s wet or dry food daily using the included scoop. Results are typically visible within 3-8 weeks of continued use.
Trusted for over 25 years as the original pet oral hygiene solution, and recommended by veterinarians worldwide.
GMP+ certified and sustainably harvested from the clean Scandinavian coastline, ensuring exceptional purity.
Specially formulated for fussy cats, it contains only 100% organic seaweed powder and selenised yeast - a natural ingredient that enhances taste and palatability.
How does it work? Once digested, the active compounds in A.N ProDen® seaweed are released through saliva, coating the teeth and softening stubborn plaque and tartar, helping to reach areas a toothbrush may miss.
A single 40g pot can last up to 4 months. Each scoop contains 330 mg.
Usage & Suitability
Suitable for: Cats and kittens.
Not recommended for: Cat with hyperthyroidism due to seaweed’s naturally high iodine content.
Top Tip: If your cat has a sensitive stomach, introduce gradually. Seaweed is high in fibre, and a sudden increase may cause digestive upset.
The raw ingredients contain specially selected seaweed (ascophyllum nodosum) and brewer’s yeast (vitamin B and natural iodine 0.2mg/scoop.)

Kitty eats it. Not sure about the effectiveness yet but so far so good.

This has been the only thing that is acceptable (only just) to my cats. It’s very easy to use, I add a level scoop each time o add food to their microchip feeders, hoping it will be effective for my cats. They are not thrilled and I note they all eat less because it’s being used - this is being carefully monitored as I don’t want them to lose weight unnecessarily. The treat versions of this c product are not stable, have a very short shelf life and not well tolerated. Or liked. The soft chew version is refused by 2 out of 3 of the cats. Scrambles gnashersxjave also been reeked and also now being refused. Physical tooth brushing is too stressful to them so the powder for now is continuing to be used. I did buy a dental wand but this too is not easy to use.

Easy to use in good and the cats have no objection. Their teeth and gums appear much more healthy

Easy to use. Just sprinkle on food each day. Cat seems unbothered by it. Not sure if working as cat won’t let me that close to his teeth but he is waiting dental treatment and this was advised by vets so hopefully works!

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding ProDen PlaqueOff Powder for Cats, including answers from our team.
Sally
Hi team
Just checking if I can add the plaqueoff powder to my cats drinking water? Our vet recommended the product and said to add it to the water as our one cat is a very picky eater. If so, what is the ratio per liter?
Many thanks
This product is to be mixed in with your cat's food, not water, so I cant advise on this.

my cat has stage 3 KD, can i still give this to her.
As you are already under the direction of a vet, unfortunately we are unable to provide any further advice. We would suggest that you contact your vet on this occasion as they already have a treatment plan set out for you.
