When I heard about ProAtop I was very intrigued to try it out with my chronically atopic/allergic Shar Pei X SBT. I thought the price was a little steep but accepted it since it's a new product and the science behind it seemed convincing.
Dinah is already on prescription anti-itch medication and shampoo, but has had several flare ups recently, so I'm trying this spray alongside her existing treatment. Not sure if it's the probiotics themselves or the moisturising quality of the carrier oil but Dinah's skin already seems to be improving after only a week's use.
The formula is a bit awkward to apply, it's much easier to spray into my hand and then massage onto her skin than spray directly onto her, but she tolerates it better than other sprays we've tried. The bottle is tiny so I'm hoping it doesn't run out before 4 weeks of treatment...!

My Millie is continously itching and biting herself. She has bitten herself so much in places her fur has gone and left a bald patch.
She has been like this for a few months so i wonder if it could be hay fever or
something like.
Itching, biting, and fur loss that’s been ongoing for several months can be caused by a number of things, including allergies (like hay fever), parasites, skin infections, or underlying health conditions. While seasonal allergies are possible, we can’t diagnose or recommend treatment.
Please contact your veterinarian as soon as possible. They’ll be able to examine Millie, determine the exact cause, and suggest the right treatment to relieve her itching and help her skin and coat recover. The sooner it's addressed, the more comfortable she’ll be and the lower the risk of infection or further irritation.
