Calming powder is a powerful everyday supplement. Helps your horse to stay calm, confident and focused without affecting the ability to perform. Calming powder is ideal for horses during stressful situations such as breaking, training, loading, travelling, clipping, racing, outings and competitions or any situation that causes anxiety, stress or fear. It is specially designed for those who prefer to administer their calming supplements as a powder. Calming Powder has all the same benefits as Calming Cookies® but a slightly stronger formula with effects still being seen after 8 hours for an average horse.
Instructions for use
1 scoop (30ml) = 18g
Per 500kg horse, administer 1 level scoop in the morning. Some horse may benefit from 1 level scoop of calming powder in the evening if extra support is needed. Mix with feed. Can be syringed by mixing with a little water to form a paste.
Can be fed alongside the Calming Cookies.
For difficult behaviours a loading dose for up to 10 days is recommended. The effects of the Calming Powder are more predictable and consistent when fed regularly and twice a day.

I have tried everything on the market to calm my firey cob. Every powder even American powders and every liquid available out there. But this is amazing. Frank has only been on it a month and the change in him is phenomenal. No more jumping out of his skin, taking off in fear, frightened of his own shadow, couldn’t catch him. Head shy . Pol tension, rearing up if he was the last one in the stable he just panicked . The list was ridiculously long. His mood is chilled and relaxed. He walks out on a hack only shying at birds in trees etc. he’s such a good boy now and I know it’s down to this calmer. Worth every penny. I read so much about the science and how this actually works. I got lost down a rabbit hole if I’m honest. The science is right. This really works and I’m so so happy as I can ride my horse again. This works.

what is the difference between premier calm and calming powder apart from £10 price difference - the description is exactly the same on the vio vet website ?
Calming Powder is based on Soya Flour (NGMO). This is high in fibre, high in protein, low in saturated fats, and a good source of antioxidants and Omega-3 Fatty Acids. It is also high in phytoestrogens.
The Premier Calm is based on Chia Seed flour – this product does not contain soya. This is high in Omega 3’s, good for hydration, supporting healthy skin, coat, hooves etc, and helping build muscle. It is also less dense, which makes it the calmer of choice for those with sensitive guts – it is a little easier on digestion.
