The lanyards is what activates the gas canister once pulled out of the trigger system inflating the airbag and keeping you safe while riding & jumping fences. Compatible only with triggers from 2012 onward. They provide strong safety and security, and an instruction manual is provided for easy installation and operation.
It is very important that you make regular checks for wear & tear on your lanyard and replace your lanyard every 2 years dependent on how long and how often you ride for (not just on how many inflation's it has had.) Our vests come with a standard length lanyard 50cm at full stretch.
