Oxbow Essentials Cavy Cuisine is a Western Timothy based high fibre feed which contains stabilised vitamin C and an optimal calcium to phosphorus ratio that helps maintain a healthy body. Designed to meet the exact nutritional needs of the adult guinea pig. It contains a lower protein and energy level than pellets as adults do not require as high a level of nutrition as young guinea pigs.

Mature guinea pigs (over 6 months)
Feed 1/8 cup pellets daily in addition to unlimited grass hay. Although Cavy Cuisine - Adult Guinea Pig Food is an excellent complete feed for guinea pigs, unlimited access to fresh grass hay should also be provided.
Choose from Oxbow’s Western Timothy, Orchard, Oat or Botanical grass hays to provide additional natural fiber.
Cavy Cuisine - Adult Guinea Pig Food is not intended for growing, gestating or lactating animals. Feed Cavy Performance - Young Guinea Pig to guinea pigs requiring a higher level of nutrition.

Really nice quality food for guinea pigs. They took a while to get into it but now they really like it. Not dusty and smells great. Will buy again.

I brought this as my id been reading up on guinea-pig pellets and the best pellet for guinea-pis over 6months old is pellets which are Timothy hay based which this oxbow one is!, & my piggies LOOVEE this food! will defo buy it again but its a shame VioVet charge so much for it!
