With 2 cats with early renal, 1 with IBD and 1 deaf, the 3 Oralade fluid products have been a godsend. All 4 enjoy Oralade in their wet food including in boiled chicken we prepare for them, what a brilliant product!!!

Very palatable and of course safe for cats with renal failure. A great product for hot summer days or times when our cat isn’t drinking much

My cat had Benin hospital for 5 days really I'll. They said they'd fed him. But when I got home home I found he had lost half his body weight and I could feel his spine and ribs. He wouldn't eat both matter what I did. So I searched on Viovet and they came up with Oralade. I used a syringe to squirt it into his mouth. It was hard going to start with. Then he perked up! First day half a sachet. Second whole sachet. And now he is back to eating well. Hes a hal Maine Coone so has a lot of weight to put back on. Thankyou Viovet and Oralade!

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Oralade Advanced RF+ Renal Support for Dogs & Cats, including answers from our team.
Rob
My cat can't have iodine due to hyperthyroidism, does this formula have iodine please?
Based on the available information, Oralade RF Support does not list iodine as an ingredient in its formulation. The primary components include purified water, dextrose monohydrate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, chicken liver hydrolysate, and various amino acids such as arginine, lysine, taurine, and L-carnitine

My 6yr old cat is healthy, but she doesn't like the rehydration plus drink, will this be OK to give in moderation. I have tried her on some and she lapped it up
Thanks
Oralde RF is 'Suitable for cats with renal or urinary problems and also GI upset and during recovery.'. If your cat is not affected by either of these conditions then it may not be entirely appropriate. We unfortunately cannot provide advice that is outside of the packaging recommendations, it is recommended to contact your vet or the manufacturer regarding this query if you would like to try it in your healthy cat.
Paula
How often and how much it's made should I give?
Oralade RF is suitable for cats with renal or urinary problems and also GI upset and during recovery. If your cat fits this criteria then it can be used as the dosing guidelines suggest:
Period of use up to 6 months. It is recommended that a veterinarian’s
opinion be sought before use or before extending the period of use.
Water should be available at all times.
The daily recommend amount can be found on the packaging, it is advised to follow this.

Is this a supplement for use instead of a renal diet, or as well as? Thanks
This is not a suitable replacement for a renal diet, but it is useful for cats recovering from an episode of kidney disease or intestinal upset. It is a useful supportive diet if your cat is refusing to eat as much as they should and you are wanting to ensure hydration/nutrition levels are kept up.

Hi
My nearly 14 year old cat is recovering from recent hospitalisation and the vet recommended oralade for cat’s and dogs.
He had chronic kidney disease and pancreatitis.
Would the specific cat one be better for him rather than the cat and dog one?
Thanks
Louise
Yes the Oralade RF would be better for your cat who has been diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease, it is specially formulated to meet the needs of a cat with Renal (kidney) failure.

-Is it an old version of Oralade RF Support for cats?
http://oraladevet.com/products/oralade-rf-support/
-Can you please add Oralade RF Support 330ml to Viovet stock?
Hello,
Thank you for your query.
This product has been updated with new packaging and also a new shaped bottle. This used to be called the RF Support but is now just Oralade For Cats.
The formula is exactly the same and is suitable for cats with renal issues.
I hope this helps.
