My first impression was that this is robust and my 1 year old dog couldn't get a grip on the parts to chew it apart like she does with most toys. Unfortunately, she was able to empty it of treats in about 2 minutes (I didn't time her exactly) which was a bit disappointing. However, she is quite smart (imo!). It would be good for a quick distraction activity but not a long lasting boredom buster.
