Not many foods agree with my dogs, this is one that does, all of them love it and it seems to agree with them, making clear up much more pleasant!

Use this wet food as a part of meal , to conceal medications which would otherwise be left in food bowl . Preferred plastic tray rather than new foil box though, as nit able to recycle.

15 I am disgusted with Naturediet - caused colitis
Verified Purchase

By on 29 August 2020

I am disgusted with Naturediet. After feeding my Border Collie on their
Feel Good Lamb Dog Food Trays for over 10 years with perfect results I
changed to their new Tetra paks early this year. Within days my dog had
severe colitis/enteritis, cured immediately when I switched to Burns
Lamb & Brown Rice Dry Dog Food (used previously as a top-up) even though
the ingredients were almost identical. This trial was repeated many
times over the following months. Sometimes I got several days or even
weeks without problems but this seems batch dependent as a new box of 18
cartons of Naturediet would bring back the colitis. I did read that
Naturediet had changed their cooking to a lower temperature and longer
time. Whether this is the problem or if it is something else I don't
know but the recipe is supposed to be unchanged.

The last straw was when a single carton of Naturediet from a new box
given after over a week on Burns without problems brought on colitis
complete with mucus and drops of blood on the kitchen floor - so bad she
couldn't even wait to be let out.

I am furious at the loss of money as I bought a full year's stock as
usual at the start of the year but I have decided I have to stop using
Naturediet. 144 cartons were given to Hillside Animal Sanctuary during
Lockdown but I had hoped to use the rest interspersed with Burns but
this causes too much distress for my dog and problems for me cleaning
her up so I am giving my remaining 100 cartons to the RSPCA shop in

Clearly I will never buy Naturediet again. So if I could give negative
marks I would. In contrast I can't recommend Burns Dry food too much.

Q & A

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Naturediet Feel Good Chicken Dog Food, including answers from our team.

Ingredients, new packing.

Our dogs have done really well on Naturediet and love it. Please could you confirm that the ingredients in Feel good are exactly the same? Important to know because our dogs have very sensitive stomachs and any would need a transition on to the new food.

Thank you for your enquiry.

The only difference is the packaging; the food is exactly the same.

Hope that helps,
