I use this on fly rugs for our pair of thoroughbreds who like to damage each others rugs during play, it stops the worst of the damage!

Is it safe to spray onto my horses mane to prevent others chewing her mane?
Yes, NAF No Bite Spray is safe to use on your horse’s mane or tail (as well as on rugs and bandages) to deter chewing, but it’s not intended for direct application on the skin. Here's what the manufacturer and retailers say:
