NAF Electro Salts is a supplement which replaces the essential mineral salts (electrolytes) which are lost during exercise when the horse sweats. Fatigue as well as muscle, bone and cartilage damage can be avoided by replacing the essential salts of sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride and magnesium, all of which are present in NAF Electro Salts. It also contains dextrose to speed up absorption. NAF Electro Salts are best used after strenuous exercise or in periods of hot weather.

Water should be made available at all times. NAF recommend your horse has free access to a NAF Himalayan Salt Lick to meet daily salt requirements.

This product has a very strong salty taste. I had to give my horse a very small dose in his feed at first otherwise he refused the feed. If I had needed to feed a large dose quickly I would have had to find another way to administer it, or use another product
