NAF Cushinaze is a nutritional supplement which provides support of the pituitary gland and also helps optimise gut function. As a horse ages it can pick up pituitary gland stress which may result in an un-shedding curly coat, excessive drinking, poor condition, lethargy and hoof and laminae stress. Cushinaze combines key herbal elements which support the pituitary gland with essential support of the whole horse. Efficient metabolism is supported by live probiotic yeasts, in combination with magnesium to support glucose metabolism.

MSM is included to support healthy hooves along with antioxidants which flush out harmful toxins most often seen as hoof stress. Cushinaze is recommended for all horses and ponies where blood tests confirm, or one or more key signs indicate the presence of pituitary gland stress.

55 Naf cushinaze - amazed
Verified Purchase

Ok, so i have an elderly ardennes mare, showing classic cushings symptoms. I want her to be happy in her later years without blood tests & chemicals. This stuff 100%, she has been on it now for two weeks, I'm not expecting miracles - but to say she has more energy, less grumpy (& if you knew my mare - thats an achievement 😀), shes still growing her coat, but its thinner, more wispy than wool. She's up for going out, and enjoying it. She's happy so I'm happy. Will definitely be ordering more

Bought this when my 26 year old mare was starting to show a few signs of cushings, using it alongside prascend which I got confirmed as safe to do so by NAF & viovet before I started.
I honestly can’t believe the difference in her, much more energy, all signs of laminitis associated lameness gone, really back to herself.
Due her bloods in June & fingers crossed we’ll see a drop in her levels. Really can’t recommend this product highly enough for ponies that need that extra boost.

This product is great. I have a 30 year old thorobred with cushing, this has helped her alot. She is much more alert and active, she sheds out better in the Spring and it has no side affects. I would recommend this to anyone who has a horse with cushings and that has a very sensitive stomach.

55 So far , so very good !

By on 18 May 2018

My 24yr old mare had Cushings diagnosed almost 7 yrs ago . Well controlled by Prascend until January 2018 . She developed very serious dry cough everytime I gave her her dose so stopped meds after i realised the cause. Within 2 weeks of no Prascend her coat became long and dry , orbital processes started filling , she lost weight and became footy . Within 2 weeks of giving my mare Cushinaze she shed long coat , regained shine , orbital processes cleared of fatty deposits , she became comfortable on gravel and so far has cool feel with no easily found digital pulse or signs of laminitis. She is back in active exercise both ridden and driven with ears pricked and happy.

Brilliant product, my 18yr old mare has had a black beauty life before i had her, hunting bad riding schools etc realy been through it, when i took her on she had the pot belly , long coat hair which took ages to go in the summer, sore soles, lethargic with a ravenouse appetite, also her mane and tail were not growing well, basicly clear signs of cushings, she's been on cushinaze for 7 months now and i would NOT even consider stopping as she is a new horse, now looking good no pot belly, lovely long mane, no longer being carefull when she walks on stoney ground, ravenouse appetite gone, and trotting , sometimes the odd canter round the paddock, she is a 15.2hh connemara x TB , i started her on loading dose of 2 level scoops then down to 1 scoop but found was'nt enough so gradualy upped it she is now on one and a half a day and this seems to keep her well and happy, but i do know it's not the size of the horse/pony it's what it takes to keep a happy balance. wish it were cheaper but the results are amazing. Although i noticed a slight improvement in first 2 to 3 weeks it was getting on for 2 months before a real noticable change, she has'nt missed a day on it, if you try this give it a good chance to work at least 2 or 3 months , all i know is it's worked for us.
