Blackthorn, thought to be designed by J.H Dearle for Morris & Co. in 1892, is a radiant depiction of the blackthorn tree. Dearle draws upon the rich folkloric heritage of the blackthorn to produce a pattern with abundant colour and intrigue. Blackthorn also features hawthorn leaves, and is typical of Morris & Co.'s tendency to draw inspiration directly from the English countryside. Our Blackthorn box bed features thickly padded sides for comfort and support, crafted from luxurious and ultra soft linen cotton blend. The inner cushion is reversible with the luxury print on one side and dark green velvet on the other. This bed is available in 3 sizes, suitable for most breeds of dogs and cats.

My 5m old pointer cross loves this bed, he's a slumper and a stretcher so I know he'll eventually grow out of this as it's on the smaller size of large, however being Morris, it's got that lovely thick and quality texture material, the pattern is beautiful and even straight out of the box without fluffing up it's plump. Will give it a shake tomorrow and see if it gets even squishier. Pooch loves it and the bolster sides that were necessary for us as he's a head tester are perfect. Also, the price for this is exceptional and I'd strongly encourage anyone to buy it now as there are no other retailers anywhere selling it even close as cheap to this.
