The brushes, while somewhat less substantial than I expected, do a good job in the longer coat. The lightweight plastic design on reflection will be easier to clean and keep clean

My horse loves the feeling of the brushes. It does remove dried mud very well and is light to hold when using. The fact that they can go in the washing machine makes them hygieneic too.
