These balls are the perfect size and he loves playing fetch with them. However, each one ended up with holes in under 20 minutes. Despite that, he still plays with them because the size is just right.

We've tried other balls but kong balls my dogs love and this being XL is even better as a dobermann and she loves it, they last longer than most balls as she's a chewer, I'll definitely be ordering more

The medium size balls that I bought are about the size of an average tennis ball. They are great for my young poochon or a smallish breed that doesn't have the strongest bite that might be able to bite through it when you mite lose its bounce. Also be aware that just like normal tennis balls some fur babies will want to rip the yellow fuzzy coat off it.

The KONG AirDog Squeakair Ball in Extra Large size typically has a circumference of about 23 inches (58 cm).
This is for the XL tennis ball, which is generally designed for larger dog breeds with bigger mouths (like Mastiffs, Great Danes, or large Labradors). The diameter of the extra-large ball is usually around 7 inches (18 cm).
