Much nicer-looking than the similar plastic alternatives. The stainless steel also keeps the water cool, which I imagine wouldn't be the case in a plastic bottle in e.g. the car. The lid is easy for my dog to drink from and pours smoothly back into the bottle - a great design considering how there is often excess water which will need pouring away if you use a bowl while on the move. Equally useful while travelling in the car or on public transport and just in the park on warm days.
One small issue is that the carabiner/clip supplied is a bit flimsy - it's not actually strong enough to support the bottle's weight when full. It doesn't really affect the functioning of the bottle though - I'll probably just order a better clip.
Not the cheapest, and I'm sure an element of that is just paying for the Kong brand, but it is an excellent quality water bottle.
