My dog (Cockapoo) was neutered and he could reach around this collar and get to his stitches - it may have worked if the surgery site was further up his chest, but it didn’t stop him from reaching his stitches in the location they were in

These are just brilliant. So much better than the plastic cone type collars. Much more comfortable for the dog. Easy to put on. Nice soft cover on them.

My dog has a sore on his tail.. Will this stop him licking it. Currently using a plastic one. Thanks in advance . Sarah x
These inflatable collars do not provide quite as much protection as a buster collar. The answer to your question depends on how long your dog's tail is. A cockapoo may be able to lick the tip of their tail with this on, depending on the breed mix itself.

Will this collar be wide enough to stop him licking the sore section on his paw?
How wide is it? M dog is a golden retriever so would need quite a large size.
This collar will protect the belly area well as it prevents your dog reaching their body. It will also protect the upper legs but it is unlikely to prevent licking of the paws. I recommend either a Buster Cone Collar for this or covering the site with a Dog/Paw Boot.
