I've fed my cars on Hill's, among other good qualty brands, for many years: always palatable, always reliable. Useful to have specific diets available for cats with problems.

I first came across this in tin form and noticed that my cats preferred this to other tins so I thought I's try the dry version. When this arrived they broke into the package and ten into the packet where my husband found them having a feast on the kitchen floor! Good small niblets, perhaps not as crunchy as other biscuits and more messy, as in tiny bits of powder falls off, but definitely tasty.

I tried this food first thing in the morning when Monkey is usually ready to snarf up whatever I put in front of her because she's hungry and she loves her food. She had a whiff of this and just refused, wanted nothing to do with it despite being hungry. I tried another day and got the same response so, I donated it to the animal rescue.

This is the best and I mean the best dry food that I've ever used for Ringo, who has managed to loose a whopping 5lb while being fed this.
As this is a dry food, it keeps fresh in the zip bag, and is easy to portion out (even the husband does it).
It keeps fresh all day even outside in the greenhouse, (Ringo's outside shelter).
I would recommend this kibble to anyone who has a cat that prefers dry food, I'm over the moon with it. x

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Hill's Science Plan Perfect Weight Adult Chicken Cat Food, including answers from our team.
karen
Does the tins of wet food look appetising or does it look like i/d (for example) also would the dried food be enough for a disabled house cat who needs to lose a couple of kilos?
The wet food is more of a pate/mousse and contains vegetables whereas the I/D doesn't.
Also if your cat has a bodyweight over 30%, we would advise you to seek veterinary advice to ensure your cat is put on a diet plan that best suits his needs. For example, if your cat weighs approximately 5kg and you are trying to get him down to about 3kg, this would not be suitable and you would need to seek advice from your vet.
