Large Wall Haynets
Verified Purchase

By Ella Livingstone on 10 September 2024

I bought these nets to replace two Nibbleze nets (as they don't seem to make the wall nets anymore).

These nets are way cheaper, and the 100 x 160 is considerably larger - if I purchase again, I'll probably go for a slightly smaller size as these really are massive! They are also knot free, which is nice, and I hadn't been expecting.

On the downside, the holes are quite a bit larger than the Nibbleze nets. Another thing I'm not too keen on is that instead of having a flap that comes over the top to stop horses just getting their noses in, it just has two strings at either end that are at the top.

I've got round the issue by adding three other ties per net, and not just tying the top but tying to the net about 30cm down the front, and they haven't managed to get in the top yet. One of the sets of strings has come off already, but I'm hopeful that the nets themselves will last about the average time for a haynet.

Overall, I'm happy with them, but will probably look for something slightly smaller, and smaller holed when I come to replace them.

Loving this !
Verified Purchase

By Lisa Grafton on 8 April 2024

It's big and good. I'm using it inside an "outside hay feeder" to contain hay. Outside hay feeder is made of pallets, but my horse throws the loose hay everywhere and so far this net is keeping most of it inside the square pallet feeder. I just tie it into pallet feeder at both ends low down. Good price & quality too.

Great net
Verified Purchase

By Alison Dillon on 21 March 2022

This is a really good net. I hang it in between the walk outs for my two horses as an extra. Very sturdy and small holes to make sure it lasts a bit longer. Recommended. I've just ordered another one!

Great haynet

By Tally /ella Gorvin on 19 January 2022

Really good quality. I use it for feeding adlib hay to two horses who live out.

It has lasted me two winters so far with no signs of wear and tear at all. It has saved me a lot of wasted hay in that time so definitely worth the money.

Useful large haynet, easy to fill and slows feeding down and minimises waste.
