Gold Label Equikalm is a non-sedating herbal supplement based on Valerian, natural B group vitamins and Hops. Has a mild effect on the central nervous system. After a period of feeding, it helps to calm nervous horses and settles excited ones without impairment of performance. An ideal supplement for horses with stable vices, hyperactivity when stabled or excitability when ridden.
Feeding guidelines
Continue to feed for at least 4 weeks. One 750g tub will last a horse 1 month and a pony 2 months.

As previously mentioned it smells quite bad, i thought it was something like cheesey doritos or feet honestly lol. But thankfully ive got a greedy cob and she eats it fine enough in feed, or recently ive put some apple juice in to sweeten the deal a bit. Not been using it long but seems to be working, only thing ill say is my god the lid is a nightmare to get off!! Takes me about 5 minutes just to get it open so would be worth just tipping it into a different tub. Also comes with its own wee scoop which is nice, very handy

Can this product be used for long term use or only short term use as I am looking for something long term for my ex racehorse and my stress head irish cross (they are not participating in high level competition only local)
This supplement can be used long-term and in fact it is not particularly fast acting I believe, so it works best with extended use.
