Global Herbs Skratch Plus is used primarily in spring and summer when midges are around. Midges can cause particular issues with horses who suffer from sweet itch. The herbs have an even stronger action than their smell and work to maintain normal skin in even the most challenging conditions. Introduce slowly into the feed, preferably with a palatising agent such as apple juice or cordial or mint.
Introduce slowly and increase to 1 scoop twice daily per 500kg.

Really strong smell, I would recommend wearing gloves when adding to feed as this lingers! Introduced really slowly as my lot can be fussy but all 3 ponies are eating it now. Definitely a reduction in flies round them and biting them.

I have used this product to help to control the pony's mild sweet itch for several years and it seems to be very effective, combined with sensible management.
