Is this appropriate for use with horses?
Yes — the Genia Digivet can be used on horses for basic tasks (taking a rectal temperature in a non‐critical situation). It meets many of the basic spec needs.
But if you are:
doing veterinary monitoring (e.g. after surgery, or in very hot/humid weather, or with high fever),
need more rugged gear, or
want faster, more durable / longer probe thermometers designed specifically for large animals,
you might want to use a thermometer built specifically for equine / livestock use.

How to use it? How to clean it? Do you sell the wipes for cleaning it. Many thanks.
I recommend seeking veterinary advice on how to use this product safely if possible. It should be setup as the packaging suggests and then used to take a rectal temperature. It does not come with products to clean/lubricate so I advise purchasing these separately. You should use lubricant when taking the temperature to ensure this is comfortable for your pet. Once used then it can be cleaned with animal-safe disinfectant products, there are many sprays/wipes on our site that are suitable.
