Alfalfa ReadiGrass is a delicious alternative to dried grass or hay and can add variety to your pet’s diet. It can be fed as a treat to mature: rabbits, chinchillas and degus. It can also be fed on its own or mixed with good quality hay to pregnant, nursing and young animals.
Good quality forage, dried grass, timothy, green oat or hay should form the major part of the diet of these animals.

Awful product. Nowhere near as good as King Alfafa hay which I can't get at present. Extremely dusty and made me sneeze when I opened the package. Hay is very woody and hard. Going to weigh the amount of dust and need to sieve out from the hay or should I say woody hard bits. Wouldn't buy again and I bought 2 packs ! Even my rabbit doesn't want to know which shows how bad it is and he isn't usually that fussy and has 4 different types of hay. Nutritional value is supposed to be good but that actually masks the fact that the rabbit doesn't like it so not get any nutrition from it !
