Feathers & Beaky Free Range Chicken Grit is made up from a mixture of flint grit and limestone grit, oyster shell, cockle shell and charcoal. It acts like teeth in the crop to help chickens grind up their food. Limestone grit, oyster & cockle shell have a high mineral content, including the all-important calcium, for good shells on their eggs. Charcoal enhances the palatability of food and aids digestion.

Not much to say really this product is put in our chicken trays and around their food trays so they eaten it with their food, the eggs have not so many disfigurement now . shell did show calcium disfigurement signs . So they must be enjoying it
