KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS
EFFICACY: Fast-acting formula that kills fleas and ticks and prevents potential home infestations.
CONVENIENCE: Simple, chewable tablet. Can be given without food.
SAFETY: Suitable for puppies from 8 weeks of age and over 2kg of weight. Suitable for breeding, pregnant and lactating dogs.
DOG-FRIENDLY FLAVOUR: Beef flavour, making it easy to give.
SPECIAL PRECUATIONS
Can be used in puppies from 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 2kg in bodyweight. Can be used with breeding, pregnant and lactating female dogs. Consult a veterinary surgeon before commencing treatment with breeding males.
For dogs above 50kg bodyweight, use an appropriate combonation of chewable tablets of different/same strengths. The tablet should not be divided. For example, treating a dog weighing 55kg would need a combination of 1 tablet for 25-50kg dogs and 1 tablet for 4-10kg dogs. The active ingredient is AFOXOLANER.
Treatment Scedule
For optimal protection against fleas and ticks, the product should be administered at monthly intervals throughout the flea and/or tick seasons, taking into consideration the animals lifestyle. For example, dogs who go to areas where wildlife such as hedgehogs, foxes or other animals can roam will be at higher risk of picking up fleas and ticks than those who don't. See product label for full claims and direction of use.

Really pleased as my dog actually ate it with out having to put the tablet in meat, cheese or anything. normally he’ll spit any tablet of any description out no matter what you wrap it in. I got these for prevention not cure. So, so far so good. And soo very happy he ate it with no fuss.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding FRONTPRO® Chewable Tablets Flea & Tick Treatment for Dogs, including answers from our team.

My sons working dog has fleas. She has been bathed in Flea Shampoo and he put a Frontline Spot-On on her last night. How soon after this treatment can she be given one of these tablets?
Using them together is not normally recommended unless a vet specifically advises it, because:
You are doubling up on flea treatments from two different chemical classes.
While they don’t directly “interact” in a toxic way, there’s no benefit to overlapping them so soon, and it increases the risk of side effects (skin irritation, GI upset, neurological effects).
Regulatory guidance usually says: if you switch from one flea product to another, you should wait until the protection period of the first has passed (e.g. ~4 weeks for spot-on Frontline).

My dog does not have any fleas but ticks seem to like him will these stop him from getting them
FRONTPRO® Chewable Tablets are a great option for protecting your dog against both fleas and ticks. Even though your dog doesn’t currently have fleas, this treatment actively kills ticks and helps prevent future infestations.
Once given, the tablet starts working quickly — killing ticks that attach to your dog before they have a chance to spread diseases. It’s a monthly treatment, so consistent use will give your dog ongoing protection.
Ticks can be persistent, but FRONTPRO® makes a big difference in keeping them away. If you have any other questions, feel free to get in touch!

If your dog has Epilepsy, I would advise reaching out to your vet for
advice on parasite control.

I have 6 dogs all between 12 & 15 kgs. How many boxes would I need?
You would need two boxes of FRONTPRO 68 mg chewable tablets for dogs >10–25 kg (3 per pack) for one month's treatment per dog.

My dog has allergic reaction to certain flea products I can't use spot on treatment or collars but he has been OK with flea tablets will this chew be safe to use .
If your animal has had an allergic reaction to flea treatments in the past, I would advise speaking with your family vet to decide what one is best for your
dog.
