F10 Products Germicidal Wound Spray with Insecticide is a long lasting antiseptic barrier which helps to repel insects and eliminate infestation from fly strike. Supplied as a topical spot treatments for application to wounds.
This product is toxic to cats.
Uses
A topical application, long acting spot treatment spray for wounds, as an antiseptic and barrier to re-infection and to repel flies and other insects and to eliminate infestation due to fly strike in rabbits, ferrets, pigeons, cage birds including birds of prey; terrarium animals and reptiles; small rodents (including hamsters,guinea pigs, mice, rats).
Dosage and administration
Use only as directed in well ventilated spaces. It is good practice to wear gloves during application. Remove all organic material and clean the wound using a 1:250 concentration of F10® Antiseptic Solution (Concentrate). Spray over the site (maximum of 5 applications per animal with multiple wounds, 1 - 2 trigger pulls (1 - 2ml) per wound) and leave to dry. Repeat as necessary once a week. The product may also be applied weekly in the same manner to prevent fly strike and tick bites.
Contra-indications, warnings, etc
Flammable, keep away from naked flames when spraying. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid contact with domestic cats. Cypermethrin is dangerous to fish or aquatic life. Do not contaminate aquaria, fish bowls, ponds or waterways with the insecticidal product. Operator safety. Avoid breathing the spray mist. Withdrawal Periods Not applicable. Not for use in animals intended for human consumption.

The spray is good for most animals, I used it for a wound on my hen's leg which has now healed, but I do I think the warning that it must not be used on cats and WHY, should be more prominently displayed.

Is this product used to treat flee infections in hedgehogs?
This product is safe to use on hedgehogs as is advised by the manufacturer themselves on their website.

My Lhasa apso suffers every year July - August time with seasonal bites which we think are from grass mites. Causes bad irritation so he is constantly scratching and licking and tiny scabs appear which I remove using a nit comb. Do you think this product would help to soothe irritation and prevent further bites?
F10 spray is an anti-bacterial/fungal/viral spray. It will help prevent and treat infection in the sites it is sprayed onto but it won't soothe the areas.
