Eukanuba Dermatosis FP Response veterinary diet meets the needs of dogs suffering from both food allergies and other inflammatory skin and gastro-intestinal diseases. The diet not only incorporates novel single protein and carbohydrate sources of fish and potato for dogs, but also reduces the level of pro-inflammatory mediators. This diet is one of the most widely used, genuinely hypoallergenic diets available for dogs. Many dogs with itchy skins and with chronic bowel disease will show a dramatic and sustained response to the novel protein sources found in Eukanuba Dermatosis FP Response dog food.

My fur baby has so many food allergies, it has taken a a long time to find something to eat that has no allergies too.. But now with this dry Dematosis Eukanuba dog food his skin is absolutely brilliant best it has ever been. He went from patches of bold spots, sore feet, sore ears, inflamed skin, scratching and looking unwell... To a beautiful thick coat. Happy dog, No flair ups at all so far one year. Absolutely 100% this white fish based ingredients he injoys plus he licks his bowel clean. I really recommend this food if you dog suffers with allergies. Needed a dog food for my loosing weight Lhasa Apso, his groomer was concerned about his condition & his permanently gunky ears, after many vets visits, tried all sorts of foods before this one from fresh to frozen & all sorts in between, up to now he has put on weight which has now steadied, no puking which is a massive bonus , hopefully I will be able to feed him this food for the foreseeable future.

My dog who has lots of allergies and is on Apoquel too has been on Eukanuba Dermatosis FP for about 2 years. Is this safe or should I move her onto another food? If so which one?
Since your dog has been on this diet for about two years, it's advisable to consult your veterinarian to assess her current health status and determine if continued use is appropriate.

What are the protein and carbohydrate sources? I want a salmon and potato food for my Westie
The carbohydrate is potato based, the protein is more than one fish, but not salmon. The results tend to be very good and are in line with a salmon and potato diet. If however you are sure you want salmon and potato, then a good example would be Barking Heads Fusspot. You could take a look at that.
