Having tried a more expensive treatment which upset my horses skin I found this to treat his itchy legs without issue.
Perfect!

I have been baffled over the last 18 months by an elongated scab over the tendon of my horses's off side leg, she was not happy having it touched or groomed, I used olive oil, followed by Hibbiscrub. I then tried Equimins Lice formula believing that her problem may be feather mites, although she does not have feathers! After a week of daily use I am pleased to say that the scabbiness has disappeared completely, and I have a happy horse!

Why can't it be sprayed directly onto legs?
The best way to get an even coverage of the product is to rub the solution onto the area itself. Spraying will likely cover certain areas but not others and so may not cover the area evenly.

Is this product safe to use on pregnant mares?
This is a mild, safe, herbal product which would not be expected to cause any trouble at all if used on a pregnant mare. I think you will be perfectly OK to use it.
