Enurace Tablets are given to bitches which have been spayed (neutered or ovariohysterectomised). Enurace acts to tighten up the muscles near the exit to the bladder and is used to treat urinary incontinence.
It has been found that some spayed bitches start to leak urine when completely relaxed. This can start at any time after spaying, sometimes years later. Enurace tablets are normally given twice daily for life at the lowest effective dose.

These tablets reduce the amount of accidental urination but don’t eliminate it completely in my 14 year old dog but wouldn’t want to be without them. Trouble is finding things to disguise tablet so he’ll take them - finding jam or Nutella ok at the moment, he sussed it through ham, cheese and peanut butter! Would def be buying again!

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Enurace Tablets for Dogs, including answers from our team.
Hayley
my dog is now 13 and has started to pee without realising it - not a leak, a pig puddle.
can she use these tablets even though she has not been spayed?
thank you
Enurace is a prescription only medication so you will need a written prescription from your vet to purchase it with us. I recommend seeking their advice regarding it's use.
Whilst it's licensed use is in spayed dogs with USMI, this product can be used off license in any dog with incontinence as long as deemed safe to do so by your vet.
