A high-protein, semi-elemental diet designed for critically ill exotic carnivores. Developed by experts, it provides easily absorbable proteins, fats, and simple carbohydrates for energy.

Uses

This has been used successfully in a variety of species including;

• ferrets
• birds of prey
• frogs and toads
• lizards (e.g., leopard geckos, monitors, anoles, Caiman lizards, plated lizards) and
• snakes

It can also be fed in combination with other exotic Emeraid diets to a variety of species including box turtles, bearded dragons, skinks, chameleons, aquatic turtles, geese, many free-ranging songbirds, and hedgehogs*

The powder easily mixes with water, creating a formula suitable for tubes as small as 5-French. Emeraid Carnivore is a specialized therapeutic diet meant for use under the guidance of a licensed veterinarian or wildlife rehabilitator.

How to use

• Keep it uncontaminated and dry.
• Use the provided red scoop for precise measurement.
• Shake the Dry powder and measure level scoops.
• Mix with 122°F (50°C) hot water.
• Stir one part powder with two parts warm water until smooth.
• Load the syringe just before feeding to prevent tube blockage.
• Use the product as directed for tube feeding.
• Feed immediately, within 30 minutes of preparation.
• Discard any unused formula and clean the syringe.

Storage and Shelf Life

Store Emeraid Carnivore in a cool, dry place. After opening, refrigerate the powder and use it within 9 months to maintain freshness and quality.
