Can you use this to combat sweet itch in horses? And if so is it available in smaller bottles as I think my horse at 400kg will only need 40ml every 3 to 8 weeks if I've read the info correctly. I don't think I'll need 2.5 litres as that would be about 60 doses and last for years. Thanks.
Elanco’s Dectomax Pour-On (doramectin) is not appropriate for treating sweet itch in horses.
This product is formulated for parasite control in cattle—covering worms, lice, mites—not for managing allergic skin reactions like sweet itch in equines.
