The Dog & Field Dead Bird Dummy - Partridge is a full-body training dummy from the Original Clone range, built to close the gap between flat canvas dummy work and a real shot partridge. Unlike a plain roll dummy, it carries a shaped head, wings and tail printed with a high-definition photographic feather pattern taken from a real partridge, so the dog is working with something that looks, and largely handles, like game rather than a dummy. The floppy head and tail, and the loose wings, give a dog something genuine to think about on pick-up, teaching correct mouth placement before it ever meets a partridge in the field - useful given partridge is one of the earliest birds of the lowland season, shot well before pheasant opens.
