Dodson & Horrell Hoof Support is specially formulated to aid in hoof growth and quality. Weak horn walls and badly shaped, crumbling and flaking hooves are problems which could be due to dietary deficiencies due to missing micronutrients or amino acids in the horse's diet. This supplement contains zinc, biotin and methionine and is based on alfalfa which makes it appetising for the horse. By adding to the horse's feed you can improve hoof problems which lead to a difficulty in shoeing and shoe retention. Hoof Support can be fed either temporarily or on a permanent basis.
Feed 5g/100kg bodyweight per day.
For example:
Scoop enclosed = 15ml (10g)
Hoof Support can be fed at double the recommended amount for the first 4 weeks if required. Do not exceed the recommended feeding guide without consulting Dodson & Horrell or your veterinarian.
