Dodson & Horrell Digestive Support has been formulated to support your horse's digestive system which may require extra nutritional maintenance due to stress or other digestive disturbance. It can also be beneficial after your horse has been ill and needs help to recover.
Feed 3g/100kg bodyweight per day.
For example:
Scoop enclosed=15ml
Digestive Support can be fed at double the recommended amounts for the first 4 weeks if required.

I have been feeding this supplement for about 10 years now. Before I started feeding it my pony was prone to frequent attacks of diarrhoea and colic. We went from 5-10 attacks of colic a year to 1-2 per year since I started feeding it. He rarely gets diarrhoea now (clears up with some cheap natural yoghurt as a boost to this supplement)
I have also been able to give him less hard feed and keep his weight down as it has helped him absorb all the nutrients from his food. Being in pellet form also means his feed has less powder in it and is more palatable.

Been feeding a few weeks now but don't seem to have made much difference. Very edible though no problems feeding it to them.

Certainly helped improve horses appetite and seems to be a much happier horse eating everything in sight. Still early days yet as only half way through tub but early indications are that the horse is generally more comfortable.

My mare had persistent diarrhoea this year. I phoned D&H Helpline and there were no obvious management issues causing this. The Adviser suggested Digestive Support and it solved the problem within a week. I have tried taking her off the supplement but the diarrhoea returned. So she is on her second tub. She refused to eat the supplement in her feed. I mix it with honey firt then add to the feed and this works.
