Honestly I didn't think this mat would actually work but it does.
I use an under bed plastic storage box for my cat's litter box with wood shavings as my cat is so messy with his litter and when he digs a hole he flings it everywhere.
I thought the mat wouldn't catch much of the wood shavings but it does and very well.
I thought my cat would just jump over the mat in his bid to cover my flat in shavings but he didn't and the mat caught the ones on his paws but the ones on his face and back he only shook off once he was passed the mat.
I bought the small mat just to try it so I definitely need to buy the bigger mat.
