Killitch - sweet itch Solution
Killitch is licensed and proven to prevent and treat Sweet Itch in horses and ponies.Powerful anti-itch formulation. Supports prevention of seasonal itching. Soothes irritated areas. Helps prevent hair and skin damage through rubbing and scratching. The Original, Proven and Trusted Lotion - A thick lotion that reduces itching and soothes irritated skin in areas such as the mane and tail. Apply from early Spring through to Autumn by gentle rubbing with fingers or a soft cloth. If used as a preventative measure in early Spring prior to the skin irritation symptoms becoming evident and may stop the condition taking hold.
Application
With horses which are known to suffer from sweet itch, it is recommended that Killitch is applied in the early spring before symptoms become evident, so that the condition may never take a hold.

I've used everything over the last ten years. Absolutely everything. This is what works. And my horse doesn't mind it going on as it doesn't smell of anything. The other products have so many essential oils that other horses won't groom with him. Kill itch definitely helps the itch and allows him to still have buddy grooming sessions.

Have been using this during sweet itch season and definitely helps. It is fairly expensive but does offer some relief and an alternative to keeping stabled or the heavy fly rugs.id give this a 5* if it wasn’t so pricey but viovet does sell it cheaper than most places!

Does this need to be diluted?
There is no need to dilute.

How long does a 1 liter bottle of killitch last if applied every day?
Initial application of Killitch (75ml) should be made twice daily,
reducing to once daily and then 3-4 times a week as the irritation
lessens.
This will depend on what dose you are applying, though I would imagine the 1L bottle would last quite a while.
