XtraVital Large Parakeet Feed is a tasty and well balanced, seed-based premium bird food, developed in cooperation with nutritionists, vets and bird experts. It is ideal for cockatiels, peach faced lovebirds and larger parakeet species. It combines fruit, 26 varieties of seeds and egg food to provide optimum nutrition. One packet will feed a typical cockatiel for one month.
Swapping over to XtraVital does not require a changeover period with your current feed. The delicious aroma and taste help to ensure that your bird accepts this feed straight away. However, to start off, it is advisable to keep a careful track of the feed intake and to mix XtraVital into the old food if necessary. Indication per bird per day: Lovebirds: approx. 10g, Cockatiels: approx. 15g. i.e. one 500g packet of XtraVital will last one cockatiel approx one month. Always keep fresh water available.

My Cockatiel loves this mix, she is reluctant to eat fruit and because this has fruit in a seed mix she happily tucks in to it and it smells lovely.
