It works for my sparky who has hyperthyrodism, but also kidney disease, she has hills kidney biscuits and the beaphar, it is soft, and as long as it is not put in the fridge, and is body temperature when she has it, she seems to enjoy it, not so much with other wet kidney food. I only give her a small amount at a time it is nice and soft, It is also hard to get a kidney food for them that they enjoy. she has tried them all, but the hills kidney biscuits and the beaphar chicken works, she does not like the other flavours just the chicken
