This spray if very harmful, I put it on 3 horses to remove and deter ticks, their skin blistered, and came off in big sheets. When I phoned the product helpline I was fobbed off "May cause irritation" this was much more serious than irritation. DO NOT APPLY TO SKIN, EXTREME PAIN AND SUFFERING CAUSED, ANS STILL NOT HEALED, HORSES SCARED FOR LIFE

Barrier Tick Control products utilize 100% natural, plant-derived active ingredients. These ingredients are primarily essential oils and herbal concentrates, creating a repellent that is safe for animals and humans. Specifically, eucalyptus citriodora oil, which has been hydrated and cyclized to create a liquid spray, is a key component. The products are also free of any prohibited substances under FEI and HRA rules, making them suitable for use on horses and other animals.

Barrier Tick control is formulated for large animals, horses, cattle, sheep, large dogs etc. We are not allowed to recommend it for use on humans because it is licensed for animal use only.
