My dog has a very sensitive digestive system and this is the only food she’s able to eat and be ok. I like the ingredients and that it’s wheat free. She’s now nearly 12 and has been on it since 6 months old. Buying from Violet has always been a good experience and service.

Below are some recent questions we've received regarding Autarky Mature Lite Dog Food, including answers from our team.
Rebecca
We are having a few issues with our dogs bladder at the moment and the vet has asked us to check the salt content in the Hypoallergenic Mature Lite Delicious Chicken (and Salmon) Dry Dog Food for Senior Dogs. Many thanks. Rebecca
While the product's packaging and official resources provide comprehensive details on its composition and nutritional additives, they do not specify the exact salt (sodium) content. Typically, the 'Ash' content, listed as 4.0% in this formula, represents the total mineral matter, which includes elements like calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and sodium. However, 'Ash' does not provide a direct measurement of sodium levels.
For precise information regarding the sodium content, it's advisable to contact Autarky's customer service directly. They can offer detailed nutritional analyses and address any specific concerns you might have about the product's composition.

Is this suitable for wheat and grain free dogs .
Succulent Salmon is a wheat-gluten and soya free diet providing a moderate calorie content to help maintain body condition in older dogs, dogs prone to weight gain or overweight adult dogs.

My 11 yr old spaniel has white fish and potato at present grain free, I thinking about changing him to a mature lite kibble as want to watch his weight although he is well exercised. He has a problematic stomach HGE 2019 . He’s fine but have to be careful . Is the chicken and salmon grain free or won’t this matter ?
Thanks

Will this be suitable please?
This food contains 7% fat which is considered low and suitable for a dog with pancreatitis. However you should run it's use past your vet, some affected dogs can be set off even by the slightest dietary change. Only your vet can say for certain if this will be safe.

Can I feed my 5 year old dog this food
This diet is intended for use in dogs 7 years and older. It is unlikely to do any harm in younger dogs but it is not the best choice. It is advised to use the Autarky Adult Dog Food in your 5 year old pet.

Can you confirm protein levels on chicken and salmon are just 17% please?
Protein levels are quoted as being 17% for chicken flavour but 22% for the salmon version. These are both lower than the normal adult products.
