Cushings disease, what happens inside the horse’s body?
In horses affected by Cushing’s disease, dopamine (which normally regulates the production of other hormones) is no longer produced. Without its regulatory role, many hormones such as ACTH are released in excessive amounts.
These hormones have various functions in the body, and this imbalance leads to the development of different clinical signs that cause discomfort in the horse (hirsutism, laminitis, muscle wasting, lethargy, etc.).
Supporting dopamine production and regulating the secretion of hormones such as ACTH helps restore comfort to the horse.

Following veterinary advice, the measure can be adjusted to the needs of each animal. EKYCUSH CONTROL can be given all year round.
1 measured scoop = 30 g.
