Using this product on my 15 year old horse as in the mornings he suffers with "cankles" on both back legs. Since using this product this doesn't happen.

My lovely horse has enjoyed the addition of the powdered rosehips to her feed (a basic balancer), and the feed bowl is licked clean. Her "creaky" shoulder appears to be a lot freer now

I find this product easy to use and has definitely helped with an arthritic horse combined with veterinary treatment.

Having moved home I no longer have access to picking my own rosehips for the horses so bought this in the hopes it would be as nice. I am sure it is and in fact it's probably better - and a lot easier to use being ground into small pieces! Rose bushes are very prickly and this is so much simpler to use. I'm delighted with it and it seems very palatable - they lick it out of my hand. I'll definitely get it again.

is this in powder form please
D&H Rosehip is slim cut herb rather than a powder.

I'm 7&a half, and a newly arthritic 28kg dog. Research has shown rosehips & fish oils rather than glucosamine help arthritis, so should I get my human to get theze horse ones? , or I'm just send her out to pick them fresh when they grow back outside ;-)
The science behind many of these products is somewhat lacking, but they are widely believed to be of benefit. Rosehip can be given to dogs, but this should not be done in huge quantities as that is potentially unhelpful. Picking and using fresh ingredients has a lot of appeal and is probably better in many ways, though growing conditions can affect the content of many of the natural compounds in plants, so you might be adding an extra uncertainty. Tests can be done on manufactured products to produce known levels of key constituents.
