Thursday, 19th May 2011

Pet lovers across Northamptonshire have been urged to pack up some pet food and bring their cats and dogs to the LovePets Show 2011.

It is scheduled to take place on September 3rd and 4th at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh, before heading down to the Exec Peterborough on October 29th and 30th.

TV vet Marc Abraham will be appearing at the event this year, with plenty of competitions and events to keep owners and their animals entertained.

There will be dog agility displays, as well as a performance of search and rescue dogs. Animals will be shown by the likes of the British Rabbit Council and the Cats Protection League, while DK Reptiles will be bringing snakes, spiders and lizards.

Marc Abraham, star of BBC1's Animal Rescue Live and It's Me or the Dog on Channel 4, will be on hand to provide advice for owners about how best to look after their pets.

Celebrity dog trainer Karen Wild will also be appearing at the event, sharing her experience in getting the best behaviour from your pets. She has previously worked with animals belonging to Davina McCall and Celebrity Big Brother's Nicola Tappenden.
